Julia Bitar is an audiology extern focused on hearing aids, tinnitus, vestibular evaluations and geriatrics. She’s earning her Doctor of Audiology from The University of Texas at Dallas and received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University. In 2023, she won the American Academy of Audiology Foundation’s Jerger Award for Excellence in Student Research.
Both of Julia’s parents are in the medical field, so she has always been exposed to and enjoyed clinical work. Additionally, her grandmother was completely deaf due to tumors on her hearing nerve. She strives to provide an audiologic approach that not only prioritizes hearing from a healthcare standpoint, but also from a standpoint of optimizing audio for enjoyment of life.
